Ida Karlsson - My innermost self

In my final project I have tried to stay in some tough situations. During the process I have felt both vulnerable and strong at the same time. I have used myself as a starting point in my work and delved into my innermost thoughts and feelings.
I am tired to live in the in a shadow world, I want to stop hiding and show others my creativity. Invite others to my refuge, this surreal world of my dreams. It have been a way for me to lessen my sense of alienation, and to make me feel closer to people by letting them partake in strange happenings in my private dreamtime.
In this process I have started to feel an inner calm, it have made my angst that much lighter, so that it almost disappears with the wind.
